About the Item

Tides of Change captures the constant ebb and flow of human experience, where moments of uncertainty give rise to transformation. Like the sea, life moves in rhythms of loss and renewal, pulling us away from the familiar while carrying us toward new horizons. This work reflects on transition as both fragile and powerful—reminding us that change, though often unsettling, is the force that shapes growth, resilience, and the discovery of new possibilities. Shipping Procedure Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, not a print or other type of copy. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity About Artist Emmanuel Ojebola was born in Eruwa, Oyo State, southwest Nigeria, in the late 90s. He had his secondary education at the Baptist Model High School, Sango Eruwa, where he developed his interest in art during his junior secondary school education. His interest in art came from learning from his then-creative art teacher (Mr. Segun Adesope) before proceeding to improve his art skills at the Ibarapa Polytechnic Eruwa. He loves to work with mixed media, but mainly with coffee, acrylic, and oil. His passion for African black women and children, with the childhood care he got from his mother during his childhood days, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. He believes women are Virgos and sees them as gods here on earth. He sees himself as a creator who uses his coffee to create human figures with depth and meaningful art pieces. Emmanuel Ojebola now practices as a full-time studio artist with a well-known and talented artist, Oluwole Omofemi. And he sees the likes of Cesar Santos, Eddie Filer, and Oluwole Omofemi as inspirational figures. He sees his art as a part of him and a way for him to express the way he sees the world and its beauty.
