Featured within are the 30th anniversary editions of Basquiat’s Beat Bop & The Offs (2014 & 2015 respectively). The other 6 (Warhol & Haring) records are all from the 1970s & 1980s. Offset lithographs on album record sleeves. Dimensions of each individual piece: 12 x 12 inches (30.48 x 30.48 cm). Minor shelf-wear, otherwise very good overall vintage condition. All 8 Records included in very good vintage condition. Basquiat 1983/2014. Basquiat 1984/2015. Andy Warhol: 1977-1986. Keith Haring 1982-1986. Basquiat Record Art: A Brief History: Beat-Bop, is a 10-minute track synthesizing various instruments and rhyming patterns, for which Basquiat produced and designed the original artwork for in 1983. The Offs had moved to NY and soon started handing out at The Mudd Club & Max's Kansas City. Basquiat, a fan of the band, was said to have auditioned before later being paid $500 for album design. _ Keith Haring Album Art: a brief history: Whether collaborating with Grace Jones, Andy Warhol, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, regularly frequenting clubs like Paradise Garage alongside close friend Larry Levan, or sketching DJ robots, New York artist and activist Keith Haring’s work was deeply entwined with the music world lending his vision to sounds by everyone from David Bowie to Run DMC. _ Andy Warhol record art: Further Background: In the late 1950s, as the record industry began to expand - Warhol was hired by both Columbia and RCA Records on a freelance basis to create album covers and promotional content and, from there, carried the skill throughout his career designed over 50 record covers.
