The composition presents a frontal stylized head structured through bold chromatic contrasts and gestural brushwork. A strong vertical axis divides the face into two emotional registers, creating psychological intensity while reinforcing the structural rhythm of the composition. The interaction between white tonal fields and passages of cobalt blue, magenta and grey reveals the material sensitivity characteristic of Muxart’s mature neofigurative language. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona and later worked in Paris during the formative years of his career.
