Lyan Amiryan is a contemporary visual artist whose work bridges bold abstraction, vibrant color fields, and intricate symbolic forms. Born in 1987, Amiryan developed an early passion for creative expression, later refining her vision through formal training at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a focus on computer projection and design. Her studies also included art psychology inspired by Carl Gustav Jung, enriching her work with layers of symbolic meaning and psychological depth.
Her professional background spans both the arts and design industries, including her role as a graphic designer at Shoeber, where she specialized in conceptual illustrations and design enhancements, and a period of international experience in France as a general manager for Villa Chermin des Xalues, where she oversaw aesthetic and experiential standards. These experiences have given her a unique perspective on structure, detail, and composition.
Amiryan’s paintings, such as the large-scale, dynamic abstract work pictured above, are characterized by a fearless use of color, fragmented forms, and rhythmic linework. Each piece is an exploration of movement, energy, and the subconscious, often drawing the viewer into a layered narrative space that is open to personal interpretation.
Her art has been shaped by a cross-cultural journey from France and beyond, reflecting a fusion of European visual sensibilities with a distinctly personal voice. Today, Lyan continues to create from her studio, producing works that challenge perception, invite emotional engagement, and celebrate the transformative power of visual storytelling.
