About the Item

Within her ongoing exploration of psychological states, the artist focuses on the moment when something long desired has already been attained. The most significant part begins immediately afterward. It is at that moment that the first real choice appears: to hold on or to let go. The moment after achievement rarely receives as much attention as the journey itself. Yet it is this brief interval that shapes our relationship with what we have pursued for so long. To keep, to release, to return, or to allow something to disappear—these decisions often reveal more about us than the achievement itself. Once what we desire is finally in our hands, the way we perceive it begins to change. Along with that shift, we change as well. What only moments before seemed like the ultimate destination gradually becomes part of a new experience, opening space for another choice. The struggle ends when the goal is reached, but the choice is only beginning. That brief moment determines whether an achievement becomes a new attachment or retains its value without the need to be constantly held onto.
