Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France. Description: This serene Mid-20th Century Post-Impressionist pastel by Anne Marie Migette Perard captures a luminous moment at the entrance to a French coastal port. A lone sailboat glides into the harbour, its sails softly catching the light under a gently clouded sky. In the distance, a striking white lighthouse with a red lantern stands tall on the far breakwater, guiding vessels safely ashore.
