Painting: Acrylic on Canvas and Other. A painting with a cascading format of blocks of red coat colour and abstractive blouse pattern within a figurative component. Like the Harlequin painting it was a tricky concept to resolve. The goal is always to achieve a proportionality of marks and shapes on its surface, then to combine style and subject manner to form a unified painting. Finished with a coat of Winsor & Newton Satin UV varnish, this not only protects the painting, but has a unifying effect. A suggested frame width of at least 60mm or more for this size painting.
