This painting is an attempt to blend ancient symbols, contemporary understanding of feminine essence, and profound philosophical contemplations inspired by existentialism and phenomenology. The woman, represented in the image of Eve, stands as an eternal symbol of the beginning of life and the mother of all humanity. Symbols on her body, derived from the idols of the Trypillian culture, speak to the age-old connection of our people with nature, land, and spirituality. The Tree of Life with its apples embodies the immortal bond with lineage and ancestors, as well as a reflection on existence, self-awareness in the world, and relations with others. Existentialist and phenomenological philosophies emphasize individual experience and perception of the world, which are perfectly captured in this painting. Each apple represents a memory passed down from generation to generation, a reminder of roots that deeply reach into the history of our people, and contemplations about our place in the universe. In my latest work from the 'Thoughts' series, titled 'Serenity of Essence', I once again delve into the profound world of feminine reflections. On this 60x80 cm canvas, painted with acrylics, I depicted a seated young woman with a cat resting beside her. This image creates an atmosphere of tranquility and deep contemplation, characteristic of my series. The background of the painting reveals a view of hills and trees, the leaves of which are adorned with ornaments, adding sophistication to the composition. The symbol of infinity on the woman's shoulder is not just decorative; it symbolizes the endlessness of existence and unity with nature. The flowers and grasses in the meadow are depicted symbolically and graphically, creating a visual rhythm that engages and leads the viewer through various levels of perception. 'Serenity of Essence' is not just a painting; it is my perspective on feminine self-discovery and inner harmony. This canvas is an invitation for viewers to feel at one with nature, find peace in their thoughts, and discover the deep symbols of feminine existence.
