This stunning X-large hand drawn with original charcoal line drawing and hand painted with original oil and gesso paint; it is the No 2 of the only 10 Limited Editions; The colours of the painting and Shizico's expressive line drawings truly brings impact to your space and wowing visitors, delights your living space. This Artist's Proof is an one-off publishing; oil hand-painted by the artist , signed at front and on the back label too; 80% of the edition is hand painted by Shizico Yi, because the nature of hand mixed oil paint and gesso, the colours of each edition would vary slightly. Pictures are the examples of an proof , listed on offer is the Limited Edition No.2 of the Ten. This Proof collection is to offer an alternative to an original, each proof is as unique as semi-original, highly collectable. About the painting: This painting is one of the Summer Bloom series Shizico started in 2022. Constant Gardener is an on-going project in memory of her beloved late-dog Favor. Shizico started gardening in 2015; she took it as a project to make a garden for Favor to recover. After Favor had gone over the rainbow bridge in 2017, Shizico continues this garden project as a Memorial Garden in memory of his precious presence. For a decade, alongside gardening, Shizico makes series of drawings and plain air paintings in this Favor Cottage Garden, trying to keep the blooms and seasons frozen in time.
