Cuthbert Bradley (1861 - 1943) Belvoir Weaver Chromolithograph 23 x 33 cm Bradley's depiction of the Duke of Rutland's most famous hound: Belvoir Weaver. The Belvoir Hunt, sometimes known as the Duke of Rutland's Hounds, dates from 1750 and became a foxhound pack in 1762. Since then, the kennels have been located at Belvoir Castle. Cuthbert Bradley was an English painter, sporting writer, and magazine illustrator. He worked for The Field and for Vanity Fair, producing many of the hunting cartoons for the latter's famous series. He is known for his hunting pictures and wrote books about hunting too.
