Paris: Chardon, 1861. Etching with engraving on Chine collé mounted to a wove paper matrix with a false platemark and a deckle edge, 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches (115 x 165 mm); matrix 12 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches (317 x 445 mm), full margins. A fifth state (of 5) impression. In good condition with some minor marginal toning (especially at the sheet edges) and surface soiling. [Melot 98].
