Complete with moving film strip (operated by crank handle and viewable through the tiny theatre windows), Red’s Roxy is one of the most fun and clever of the artist’s three-dimensional artworks. Created by Red Grooms in 1985 as an assembled color lithograph, this work is hand-signed and numbered in pencil, and measures 8 ¼ x 6 ½ x 11 ¾ in. (20.8 x 16.4 x 29.7 cm. From the edition of 200, it is designated as Knestrick 104 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
