Over the course of a long career, Mouly exhibited widely and with success and was the recipient of numerous prizes, medals and juried awards. His works are held in the permanent collections of over twenty national museums, including the Musee Nationale d'Art Modern in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Japan, the Museum of Geneva, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris and the Los Angeles County Museum, among others.
