"PRINTEMPS" by A. Carrier Belleuse French patinated bronze of springtime by A. Carrier Belleuse. Translating to "springtime" this female figural statue is allegorical of spring, carrying a basket bursting full of fresh roses and leaves. Beautifully casted drapery cascades down the body in realistic fashion. She tilts her head down, at a little putti who tugs at her skirt. Plaque "Printemps (springtime) / Par Carrier-Belleuse (Sculpt).
