About the Item

Geometric Composition is a sculpture realized in 1984 by Giuseppe Pulvirenti (Siracusa, Sicily, 1959). Made in Italy. Steel. Signed and dated: G. Pulvirenti 84. The sculpture depicts the typical art design of Pulvirenti. Good conditions. Some rust is present on the base. Steel Sculpture is an original decorative object realized in 1984 by Giuseppe Pulvirenti (Siracusa, Sicily, 1959). The contemporary artist lives and works in Rome, where he teaches Modeling at the Academy of Fine Arts. A pupil of Giovanni Migliara, he attended the ISA in Syracuse, from '70 to '75, where he obtained the Diploma; he moved to Rome where he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts and where he became a pupil of Pericle Fazzini. In 1979, he completed his studies and, in 1985 he became a teacher at the same Roman Academy. He has also recently given his availability to the permanent laboratory of creation of Castelmola. Major Group Shows: Velodrome (Rome, '84) Purchase Award at the Biennale (Venice, '90) Quadriennale (Rome, '86), Triennale (Milan, '92) GAM (Rome, '98) Mastroianni Prize ( Turin, '94).
