Monkey with Turtle This statue by Guido Rigehtti (1875-1958) represents a monkey (baboon)tenderly holding a turtle. Probably created around the same time as Monkey with a mouse. In the catalogue raisonné a plaster version of this statue is documented on page 159 and also the existence of a bronze copy is mentioned. This cast has a dark patina with green undertones. It is signed and is an old Italian cast which was made during the lifetime of the artist. Dated: created in1919
