This set of five graduated stacking tables show no maker's marks, but are presumed to have originated from India and dating to approximately 1920 and done in an Anglo-Indian style.

A stylish, large, looping table clock from Swiss maker, Mersmann. The rectangular time piece reading "8 Days" and "Swiss", at the bottom center of the Roman numeral, hour designations.

Tops of this quality would have been highly prized and the maker of these tables took care to create table frames which enhanced the tops with nice ebonised detailed mouldings.
