Antique Gas Shades

This converted gas-electric chandelier embodies true "Empire" style in its airy design, asymmetrical lines, with a clear French influence.

This is an unusual pair of vintage gas / electric wall sconces with vintage stencil etched shades.

Sold as pair & includes American art glass shades. AA# 47174 Silver over bronze, Sheffield original gas/electric sconce has been converted to an all electric fixture.

This four arm example has been restored in the original colour and fitted with period correct "Greek Key" shades. Converted from gas to electric, circa 1875.

Note all the intricate brass work and fabulous original, deep-etched glass shades. This fixture has four gas shades which point up, and four electric shades, which point down.

These were 1800s gas shades and now are wired to take a standard bulb.
