Vintage pair of VeArt Artemide Wall Sconces by Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020) hand crafted, Italy, 1990s Beautiful Mouth-blown murano glass sconces, Vesta model, created by Guismondi, founder of the Italian Artemide group, and owner of the famous "veart" murano chandelier and sconce factory. This helmet-shaped sconce is made of frosted murano glass on the sides, and on either side of this metal blade. Brass-coloured metal details in the lower part. Fixed to the wall with a metal plate. Unique work by Italian masters. VeArt (founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana) manufactured artistic Venetian glass and lighting until the early 1990s.
