Vintage 1970s Kenzo JAP women’s long coat is a "plaid on plaid" pattern, with floral details and striped trim. Belted, slim fit long coat is a muted, light plum and blue, subtle large windowpane plaid, accented by a bold, primarily blue and black plaid shawl collar and lining when the coat is open. This plaid provides a striking contrast to the smooth, bright floral quilted, stylized bib placket (front and back), with striped diagonal piping trimming the entire front outer edge of the coat and 6 wooden button closure, which is invisible when the coat is closed. When the coat is closed, the outer collar is the striped fabric and the collar becomes Mandarin style. The bottoms of the sleeves also feature a band of the floral fabric and a wider band of the striped fabric. The sash or belt is the striped fabric on one side and the window pane fabric on the other side.
