These late 19th century Limoges porcelain dinner plates were made and decorated by highly regarded French porcelain manufactory Tressemanes & Vogt. The shoulders of the plates feature jade green glaze bordered at the inside with a .75" gilt band bearing floral and foliate details. The scalloped rims have been hand finished in thick gilt paint. The underside of the 11" plates bear green Tressemanes & Vogt "T&V Limoges France" backstamps. They also carry the T&V bell decorator mark located at the center of an overglaze gilt shield.
