Ritual, Unique Side Table in Hemp Crete by Lucas Tyra Morten Edition: A collection of 60, all unique Dimensions: W 40 x D 40 x H 44 cm Material: Hemp Crete, coffee/tee dyed, waxed with pigmented linseed oil. The piece is unique and has color variations as shown in the different images. Presenting the first drop of ’Ritual’. In moments suspended beyond time, a union unfolded — a ceremony not only of two souls, but of matter, space, and intention. For this sacred gathering, Lucas Tyra Morten created a series of stools, each one a seat for a guest — a witness, a participant in something far greater than any of us alone. Ritual is more than an object — it is a gesture toward the sacred. A constellation of sixty unique objects, each hand-formed in hemp, pigmented with blends of coffee and tea, and finished with layers of oil wax in shifting hues. From above, a cross cuts through every stool — subtle, deliberate — an emblem of the invisible threads that bind us to something beyond ourselves. Ritual is an offering — an invitation to the deeply personal world of Lucas Tyra Morten. A chance to hold a fragment of their shared history. A sacred object that serves, and observes. Suitable as a stool, a bedside altar, a hallway sentinel, a companion to your sofa — or simply as a sculptural presence in your space. Objects come with a "Certificate of Authenticity". Objects are signed on hand casted tin plates. Occupying the liminal space between art and design, the multidisciplinary atelier of Lucas and Tyra Morten is a small scale artist studio presenting handmade objects and artworks in limited editions. What permeates the experience of their work is their devotion to the impermanence of things. Far from the increasingly technological world where more efficient production lines are created with greater precision, they instead explore the fragility that comes with everything that is transitory. Their works are therefore imbued with an experiential and existential quality that comes with a touch of the artists hands. (All objects are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity. Due to the handmade process, please note that any irregularities or natural blemishes should not be misconstructed as flaws).
