The designer of this skirt is unknown, but that makes it no less spectacular. Featuring an absolutely gorgeous bamboo and leaf print in rich green hues on ivory silk dupioni, the custom-made piece is striking and incredibly unique. The textile slubs lend a subtle texture and dimensionality to the print, which is further enhanced by the metallic gold flecks that highlight the verdure. The styling on the A-line silhouette is clean and elegant. It has a banded waistline, flat front and figure-flattering wide pleats at the sides and back. While it was made in the Sixties, the look is timeless. Even paired with a simple white or black top, it would still make an impression at a semiformal or formal event today.
