About the Item

Kyoto Satsuma vase with polychrome decoration on a cobalt blue background, embellished with gold floral motifs. A reserve shows scenes of daily life with Geisha in brightly colored kimonos decorated with flowers and traditional motifs. The other reserve depicts a nature scene with a rooster, a hen and a butterfly in flight. Signed Kinkozan. Work published in the volume "Selection 2024. Height: 32cm Meiji, c. 1880.
