Technical Mastery & Craftsmanship The production of an Alexander’s Collection mosaic is a painstaking, multi-stage process conducted in our specialized Asian workshops, where the last top-class craftsmen remain. Hand-Drawn Precision: Unlike digital renderings, we use only hand-drawn sketches. This ensures the image possesses a "living" quality, creating incredible optical illusions once translated into stone. Micro-Mosaic Technique: Depending on the design’s complexity, we utilize tesserae as small as 3 mm. Each element is hand-selected and fitted so precisely that there are virtually no visible gaps between the marble cuts. Stone Alchemy: Our masters manually match the natural colors of the stone to the artist's original color zones, achieving a painterly effect with solid marble. Perfect Finish: The final 4 mm thick surface is polished to a perfectly smooth, mirror-like finish, enhancing the natural luminescence of the marble.
