About the Item

Vintage four-piece wrought iron fireplace tool set with asymmetrical brass 'fin' handles designed by Donald Deskey for the Bennett Company (ca. 1950s, USA). Different versions of this design were executed - this example is one of the floor models including a cradle/holder with sleek tripod base supported by brass orb feet housing the shovel, brush, and poker/log turner. Modernist design, visually striking and functional. Very good, vintage condition with only minimal wear, as shown (light wear to iron elements and small, minor edge wear/light patina to brass fins). Brass has been newly polished. Branded on the underside. H: 33.75" x L: 12.5" x D: 8" Height of holder - 28.5"
