About the Item

Handwoven Dune rug 240 by ALLCA One of a kind Dimensions: W 170 x L 240 cm (0,5 cm. Thickness) Materials: 100% Recycled PET, 100% Handwoven, Digitally Printed Custom dimensions available (maximum width is 270 cm. and the maximum length is 300 cm). Our pieces are made from post consumer recycled plastic and handwoven in a traditional loom, what makes each rug unique. The patterns are digitally printed over an ecru monomaterial. Colours are stable and longlasting. From the very beginning, I built my professional experiences connecting different fields such as arts, design and applied arts. later on they would lead me to specialize in silk-screen printing and textile illustration. My work is strongly defined by diagonal thinking. I strive everyday to find new ways of looking at things, linking different features of my ever-expanding experience. I am always up for new creative challenges. ALLCA, has been supported by the WORTH Partnership Project, funded by the COSME programme of the European Union (March 2020 - May 2021) ALLCA project won the SUSTAINABLE MAKERS AWARD 2020 organized by The British Council and the Dutch Design Week. (October 2020).
