About the Item

A charming early 20th Century French decorator’s step ladder. Constructed in painted softwood with a useful top platform and shallow tray for tools. The gently timeworn pale paint finish, worn tread edges and honest knocks from use give it wonderful character, while the braced A-frame form and broad stance make it both practical and decorative.  Ideal in a library or dressing room for reaching high shelves, or styled simply as an architectural accent in a hallway or kitchen.
