Once used as a water trough, it is elevated by a pair of shaped limestone stands, making it ideal for use as a large, raised planter for flowers and garden greenery. Dating from the late 19th century, this large cast iron trough is over 130 years old, now perfect for a traditional garden or country courtyard. You can just imagine it as a striking, stylish water feature or housing luscious plants. Iit is instilled with characteristic weathering that only exposure to the elements through time can create, telling the story of a 19th century English garden or farm.
