About the Item

An early 19th century heraldic stained glass window showcasing a monochrome armorial crest below a banner reading the Latin ‘Omne Bonum Dei Donum’ (Every good is the gift of God or All good things come from God). The coat of arms sees a shield displaying monochrome scalloped horizontal bars below a knight’s helmet surrounded by monochrome foliates. Above is the bust of a bearded male figure bearing two birds and a Tudor rose to his chest, possibly a depiction of Jesus or a Saint, who sits between the Latin inscribed banner. One of four similar windows we have for sale, this antique stained glass window has two hoops for hanging to the top, ready for placing in front of a light source to bring it’s details to life.
