This Murano glass bowl produced in Italy circa 1970s, is formed in a distinctive geode-style sommerso design with a compact, sculptural presence. Thickly cast in layered glass, the piece reveals a rich amber-orange exterior that subtly shifts to a vivid pink hue under changing light, creating a dynamic interplay of colour characteristic of Murano sommerso techniques. The interior is smoothly recessed, while the outer form remains softly rectangular with rounded edges, lending the bowl a tactile, almost organic quality.
