19th Century French Hand-Painted Green Tole Tray with Gilt Floral Decor. Crafted in France circa 1880, this charming antique tole tray features a soft celadon green ground decorated with a hand-painted gilt floral and foliate border surrounding the center. The shallow circular form is framed with a rolled edge and displays an attractive craquelure surface throughout, adding warmth, texture, and authentic age character. The muted green palette paired with the time-softened gilt decoration gives the piece an understated elegance typical of late 19th century French decorative arts.
