Lele Unique Candelabra & Censer in Steel by Andres Monnier Unique Piece Dimensions: D 30 x W 30 x H 90 cm. Materials: Steel. Available in different finishes and material options. Lele captures the instant when matter dissolves yet remains suspended in motion. Its vertical silhouette is formed by a succession of fluid branches, each one shaped as though melting downward, creating a frozen cascade of reflective surfaces. Technically, the piece is produced through precision casting and extensive hand-finishing, allowing each contour to flow seamlessly while maintaining structural balance for multiple candles. Conceptually, Lele explores the plasticity of light and gravity - how illumination drips, gathers, and reforms. Turning the act of burning a candle into a soft, meditative performance of slow transformation. Andrés Monnier is a Mexican artist born in Guadalajara and is based in Ensenada. He aims to create sculptural pieces to express stories through the synergy between art, design, and sculpture. In 2017, he founded his studio, where, hand in hand with his team, he created pieces with fire, as well as art objects and functional furniture made from rock, glass, concrete, wood, and metal. At the end of 2020, Andrés began to create his first collection of pieces with rock. His signature material. It wasn't until 2021 that he (with studies in medicine and industrial engineering) decided to launch as an emerging artist and held his first exhibition entitled “Olympo”, in which he exhibited the 17 pieces of this first collection inspired by Greek Mythology. Monnier participated in his first exhibition as an artist in Tribeca, NY with Galerie Philia. His motivation is to use different techniques and languages of creation to innovate with his proposals for the world of conventional furniture. Monnier is a self-taught sculptor whose dream is to create and design his universe of pieces.
