A Fantastic Early 19th Century Empire style gilt and patinated bronze mantle clock A large gilt bronze, beautiful woman sitting upon a griffin bergere chair, leaning on pillows and pondering a bird perched on her leg, a round table with empire style women with wings on her back side, the center plaque depicting an outdoor scene of a woman playing with animals and birds, and the rest of the base with frolicking cherubs, butterflies and torches.
