Antique (19th century) ormolu bronze mantel clock in the Louis XV/XVI style, finely modeled and cast, depicting Roman goddess and cherub with garland, standing on circular platform supported by four cartyatid-form legs with lion paw feet, with dangling medallions depicting butterflies, and dial with dancing court jesters and inlaid with white porcelain and hand-painted Roman numerals. 24 by 12 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches. Signed MERCIER.
