An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver photograph frame; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver frame has a plain square rounded form with a circular internal window. The surface of this antique silver frame is plain and unembellished. The photograph frame is encompassed with impressive scrolling wirework designs incorporating impressive ribbon bow motifs to the corners. This impressive antique sterling silver photo frame is fitted with the original navy velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with a swivel catch. This impressive example of Edwardian silverware is inset with a removable glass panel. Condition This antique sterling silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The silver frame has been professionally polished. Full hallmarks struck to the rim of the frame are very clear. Dimensions Height 13.8cm/5.4" Width 13.3cm/5.2" Diameter of internal window 10.1cm/4" Depth 1cm/0.4" Maker: William Vale & Sons Date: 1905 Origin: Birmingham, England.
