A charming and highly collectible set of dog and cat sculptural figures designed and handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico by celebrated silversmith Emilia Castillo. Executed in richly glazed porcelain and accented with hand-applied Plata (Pure Silver) detailing, this whimsical yet refined duo exemplifies Castillo’s mastery of blending modern sculptural form with traditional Mexican silversmithing techniques. The reclining dog features a deep midnight blue porcelain body with applied pure silver accents highlighting organic markings and tail detailing. The cat, rendered in a soft ivory tone, is decorated with bold silver striping and sculpted silver tail, creating visual contrast and playful character.
