About the Item

Lost wax casting. Base in marble. On the oval base rises the figure of the animal, located facing forward. This type of small sculptures in bronze were already highly appreciated in the nineteenth century, especially in France. From that moment, the sculpture of animals (whether wild or domestic) was considered as one of the main themes for this support. Size: 35 x 31 x 17 cms.
