About the Item

Lenci Jar with Galleon, circa 1940, with lid. This cylindrical jar with a lid is made of slip-cast ceramic and features a galleon design in a matte polychrome glaze in natural sienna. On the back, the words "GOOD LUCK" are written in cursive within a wavy scroll. The lid has four small chips along the rim and a superficial crack about two centimeters long, also near the rim. At the bottom is the blue, italicized "Lenci TORINO ITALIA" logo. Period: 1900 Height:- 17,7cm Diameter: 12 cm / 4.7 in This vase is shipped from Italy; any item dating back more than fifty years requires a government export license known as "Belle Arti," issued by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The request and issuance of this document takes 1/2 week, additional to the shipping time.
