Set of 2 MR & MISS CUT Sculptures in Resin by EURL CHRISTOPHE PERICHON. Dimensions: Approx Ø 35 x H 60 cm. Materials: Resin. Manufactured in France. Biography Christophe Perichon came to design by an unconventional path. The son and grandson of advertising professionals, he grew up in an environment where ideas often preceded form, and where creating meant first imagining a concept, an atmosphere, an identity. This culture of imagery and intuition would become deeply rooted in his own creative approach. His early work in fashion retail and boutique design naturally led him towards space and, eventually, interior architecture. A period working with Paco Rabanne further developed his relationship with materials, composition and the art of staging an environment. The design of an ambitious private residence marked a turning point. It introduced him to a more intimate expression of luxury — one defined by exceptional materials, craftsmanship, bespoke pieces and the almost imperceptible details that can transform the perception of an interior. From then on, Perichon developed high-end residential projects in which architecture, furniture, lighting and objects were conceived as parts of a single environment. This practice also fostered a strong sense of creative freedom. Rather than being confined to a single aesthetic vocabulary, Perichon moves instinctively between the radical simplicity of minimalism, the sophistication of neoclassicism and more eclectic, bohemian expressions. His interest lies less in reproducing a style than in finding the particular language that feels inevitable for each project. Gradually, designing furniture, lighting and objects became inseparable from his work. Some pieces emerged in response to a specific architecture; others began with a material, a proportion, a gesture or simply an intuition. What connects them is a constant search for balance between conceptual strength, sensuality and precision of execution. For many years, these creations were never conceived as a collection. They belonged to the interiors for which they had been imagined and, in many cases, remained behind the doors of private apartments and residences. The confidentiality surrounding much of this work partly explains its relative discretion. Perichon produces sparingly and has never sought to follow the conventional rhythm of collections. His pieces emerge when a project, an idea or a desire makes them necessary. Some remain unique; others naturally acquire a life beyond the interior for which they were originally conceived. Brought together today, these works reveal a body of design that has developed quietly over the years. Freed from the spaces that first gave them purpose, they can now be considered independently — no longer simply as elements of an interior, but as objects in their own right. More than a signature style, they reveal a way of thinking: free, instinctive and conceptual, where refinement is never an end in itself, but a means of giving each creation its own presence.
