At 18, I Started Seeing The World Differently Sculpture by Carri Dimensions: W 40 x D 5 x H 50 cm Materials: Yellow Cantera. B 1995 Fernanda Carri ́s intimate practice spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, and textile, while her subject matter ranges from dreams to biographical themes. Before devoting herself to two- and three-dimensional visual work, the Mexican artist studied architecture. Since then, she has exhibited at galleries in Mexico, US and Italy. Under the influence of artists like Louise Bourgeois, she is inspired by confessional art. Combining its visual cleanliness with phrases of an intentional revelation of the private self. Carri received the prize Massimiliano Galliani Per Il Disegno (2021).
