Trained in Toulouse and Paris, he developed a style that balanced dynamic composition with meticulous detailing, working primarily in bronze alongside other decorative techniques. This chryselephantine sculpture from the 1930s depicts a medieval knight in full armor, mounted on a richly adorned steed while holding a lance. Cast in bronze with bone elements, the piece showcases intricate engraving and patination on the armor, featuring floral and geometric motifs reminiscent of Gothic ornamentation. The decoration was executed using the dinanderie technique, a traditional metalworking method that enhances the contrast between polished copper tones and darker patinated surfaces. Resting on a veined marble base, the composition achieves both visual balance and structural elegance, reflecting Kéléty’s ability to merge historical influences with the sleek aesthetics of the Art Déco movement. Kéléty's signature is located on the lower part of the sculpture. The sculpture measures 36 inches in height, including the lance, and 28 inches from the base to the knight’s head.
