About the Item

A stylish mid-century young boy head bust designed by Johannes M. Pedersen and Gustav Ottosen for their own Ceramic Studio Johgus that operated on the Island of Bornholm in Denmark from 1944-99. This piece dates from the 1950s and is executed in Black glaze with splashes of high-lighting grey. Signed/marked beneath its base. Measurements: H: 18 cm, W/D: 9/13 cm. Well-kept and intact condition.
