About the Item

Important and highly decorative pair of marble pedestals dating from the late 18th century, carved in the form of classical columns. Inspired by the architectural vocabulary of Antiquity, these elegant pedestals combine noble materials, harmonious proportions, and the timeless appeal of Neoclassical design. Executed in marble with beautifully aged surfaces, the columns display a rich patina acquired over more than two centuries. Their architectural character makes them ideal supports for busts, sculptures, urns, or important decorative objects, while also serving as striking standalone elements in refined interiors.
