Demetre Chiparus (1886-1947) was a bronzor/sculptor that specialized in making Art Deco style bronzes most of which were female subjects! He was one of the most prominent sculptors of his time and his works are still admired by those from all over the world! His art form has even inspired other companies such as the world famous Erte! This bronze is in good vintage condition with the exception of some light surface scratches and tarnishing to the bronze as to be expected with items of age and use!
