A fine antique English porcelain pomander. By Royal Worcester. Decorated with a male and female pheasant pair to each side of the pomander and painted floral devices throughout along with gilt highlights to the edges Marked to the base with Royal Crown Worcester's maker's mark / Rd. No. 956 / 991. Simply a wonderful porcelain pomander! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There is some minor rubbing here and there to the gilding and the painted decoration. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Royal Worcester Marks: Marked to the base with Royal Crown Worcester's maker's mark / Rd. No. 956 / 991. Measurements: Height: ca. 4 in. Diameter: ca. 3 3/8 in.
