Gabriel, Sweden Ceramic vase, 1960/70s. Retro-styled tall vase in glazed faience with white top and base and a geometric hand-decorated panel in a brownish/lilac tone with diagonal lattice pattern. Origin: Sweden, Gabriel. Designer: Studio ceramicist. Material: Faience/ceramic. Dimensions: H. 25 cm, D. 10 cm. Period: 1960/70s. Condition: Excellent condition with light signs of wear. Gabriel Keramik, founded in 1925 in Timmernabben, Sweden, became known for functional and decorative ceramics with strong patterns and characteristic glazes. During the 1960/70s, production focused on modernist forms and graphic decoration — today highly sought-after collector’s pieces.
