Handwrought and patinated brass vase by Harry St. John Dixon, San Francisco. Impressed manufacturer’s mark to underside, “Harry Dixon San Francisco.” Dixon trained under Dirk van Erp and Lillian Palmer before opening his own shop near Union Square in 1920, becoming one of the leading Bay Area coppersmiths of the Arts & Crafts movement.
