About the Item

An Italian ceramic vase from the 1950s, signed “Deruta Italy 58.” The softly tapering form is articulated with twisting fluted ridges that spiral around the body, lending the piece a sense of movement and lift. Its surface is finished in a rich emerald glaze, where subtle tonal variations and a glossy sheen gather along the raised contours. Fine gilt accents trace the crests of the ridges and encircle the base, introducing a delicate contrast to the saturated green ground. Condition: In great vintage condition, with minor finish loss to the gilt accents. Signed “Deruta Italy” along the underside.
