About the Item

We have a unique Japanese aesthetic sense. This is a charcoal jar made from the Meiji era to the early Showa era (1868-1930). Put the used charcoal in this and cover it. Then the fire in the charcoal will go out. In this way, in the old days of Japan, such vases were used in private houses. It could also be used as a brazier. And it can also be used as a vase. This is very cool. A general charcoal jar is simple and has little design. However, this has a floral pattern on the knob of the lid, and the face of the beast is designed on the left and right handles. This is a design found in copper braziers in China and Japan. A design that is unusual for a charcoal jar. And it cannot be said that there are many in Japan. I think it's rare. In Japan, such things are becoming less and less common. We believe that it is our mission to convey the charm of such old things and keep them. How about as a nice object in your room?
